Child safety

Zero tolerance for child abuse

Mavi Valiz does not allow any content, behaviour or communication that sexually abuses or exploits children. This page sets out our standards and the steps we take.

Last updated: 13 October 2026

1What is prohibited

The following are prohibited everywhere in the app, including private messages:

  • Creating, sharing, seeking or pointing to child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Trying to deceive a child, gain their trust or contact them for sexual purposes (grooming)
  • Any text, image or listing that sexualises children
  • Sharing a child’s personal details, location or images in a way that puts them at risk
  • Listing or promoting child trafficking or any activity in which children are exploited

2Age limit

You must be at least 16 to create a Mavi Valiz account. Date of birth is required at sign-up, cannot be changed afterwards and the age limit is checked on our servers. Accounts found to belong to someone under 16 are closed and their data deleted.

3Reporting

Every piece of content and every profile can be reported in the app. Reports made with the category “a problem involving someone under 18” are moved to the front of our team’s review queue. If you do not use the app, you can also write to bilgi@mavivaliz.com.

4The steps we take

  • Violating content is removed immediately.
  • The account involved is closed permanently.
  • Child sexual abuse material, or information that a child is at risk, is reported to the competent authorities as required by law. In Greece this is the Hellenic Police Cyber Crime Division (Διεύθυνση Δίωξης Ηλεκτρονικού Εγκλήματος).
  • We support investigations with the necessary information in response to lawful requests from the competent authorities.

5Point of contact

Our contact address for all reports and questions about child safety is bilgi@mavivaliz.com. Messages sent to this address are handled as a priority.

6Reporting directly to the authorities

If you believe a child is in danger, call 112 without waiting for us. In Greece you can report child abuse content online through SafeLine (safeline.gr) or directly to the Cyber Crime Division (11188).
